One of our clients, who designs immersive rooms for children and for education, fits each room with several consumer projectors arranged in a polygon. These devices cannot be controlled centrally: staff had to use each remote separately to switch on, switch off, pick the right source, set the volume…
ShoWise designed a system that lets the host, from a tablet, control all the projectors, combining network commands, Bluetooth and infrared depending on the model.
Each projector is paired with a small connected box. The first version combined hardware and software designed by ShoWise; the next one relies on an off-the-shelf module, with embedded software developed by ShoWise, updated remotely at the client's request for more flexibility.
The goal: professional-level operation of the rooms for the end client, including by a non-technical user.
